The New Cross Homestead

We have been in the process of building our dream home for a long time now. It was originally scheduled to be completed in December 2014, but of course was pushed back. We are now looking to move in during early March. It has been quite a whirlwind experience building a house, but in the end we know it will be worth it. A friend told me that building a house is a good test for your marriage. Luckily, Cage and I seem to have similar tastes on everything or maybe he just realizes it will be better to just agree with me! 
We are moving across the county and will now be on the outskirts of Badger Pocket. Our house sits on over 7 acres and is surrounded by orchards with a gorgeous view of the valley. It will take some getting used to living on the other side and I will have to learn the roads out here since I never really ventured out this far before. 
We have been living in a small rental house in town since October and we are starting to go stir crazy! Half of our belongings are in storage and it's been hard to have such a small yard to play in with little Cage and two dogs. We are so looking forward to moving on up!
