Christmas 2014

We had big dreams of celebrating Christmas in our brand new house surrounded by a blanket of snow, but alas they were only dreams. The completion date of our house got pushed back to late February and there has been no snow all winter long. We tried to make the most of it and decorated our small rental house with outdoor lights and even a real Christmas tree. I didn't go all out with the decorations and kept it contained to the living room, but it was cozy and festive in there! 
We took little Cage to meet Santa up in Cle Elum and we were prepared for the worst. To our amazement, he was adorable and was all smiles with Santa. We took him to an Ellensburg event where he got to sit with Santa and again, he did great although a little more shy this time around.
