Whirlwind Summer Fun

Cage has already had a busy and fun-filled summer. Both Cages came out to my work's annual "Top Hand Event" and he got to play in his first bouncy house. Two little girls that are friends of the family took him inside and held his hands while he jumped. He got to eat sno-cones and play in a giant sandbox too. He was worn out at the end of that day!

He has visited several different parks and has graduated from just playing with the gravel in the playground to now going on the different slides and swings.
One weekend he played in Lake Cle Elum throwing rocks in the water and then went to a park in Roslyn with Grandma Lolo. For such a small town, it was an awesome park.
The next week, we went to the Loon Lake school playground with Grandma Cheryl, Grandpa Ken, and cousins Charlie and Annie.

We spent the Fourth of July weekend at Deer Lake. Unfortunately, the fireworks didn't start until about 10:30 pm so Cage was fast asleep. He never even woke up even with all the noise going on all over the lake! The water was still a little cold to go swimming, but he waded a little bit at Great-Grandpa's house down the road. The last day, Big Cage took him for a jet ski ride and went very slowly around the quiet part of the lake. He was so relaxed, he fell asleep. We managed to carry him off the jet ski and Grandma held him while we packed up the car to leave. We even moved him into his car seat and he slept for another hour before finally waking up! We joked that he must have been a little disoriented when waking because he fell asleep on the water and woke up in the car!

And lastly, just a couple of cute pics of our little goofball with his little pacifier friends

  1. What cute pictures - a great reminder of summer. He is going to love it even more this year; you probably won't be able to keep him out of the water. And he won't fall asleep on the jet ski, he'll want, "MORE, Daddy!".
