Last weekend we went to our old fire station for their annual Christmas celebration. Little Cage got all dressed up and combed his hair for his first visit with Santa. Unfortunately, he was a little wiggle worm while Santa was holding him and it didn't make for the greatest picture. So Cage and I jumped in there to try to hold him down, but he still was all over the place. He was very well behaved and didn't fuss at all to have a strange man hold him while his mom and dad stood by and laughed.
We then finally managed to get the tree decorated while the little guy slept. He was amazed at what he found when he woke up. We temporarily had to put a chair in front to guard the tree from a very curious little boy who wanted to pull everything down. I'm surprised at how quickly he lost interest in it and he doesn't seem to wonder why a huge tree is now in the living room. I have a feeling though that when there are presents under the tree, he will regain his curiosity and will be climbing all over everything.
