A Weekend Away

Cage treated me to a night away at the Northern Quest Casino for my birthday in October. My mom was staying at my brother's house in Spokane for the week and graciously volunteered (or was talked into...) to watch little Cage for the evening so we could have our first night away in over ten months. We were a little anxious to have to leave our little guy overnight, but after downing our first Martini in a real bar and surrounded by other adults, we began to relax. We spent the night gambling, drinking, and had an amazing dinner at their fancy restaurant. It was so nice to be able to eat at a place that had real linen napkins and no kids in sight! My mom kept Cage entertained with help from Charlie and Annie and they all had a wonderful night with no problems. It was a much needed getaway!
