Today was Katie's first official Mother's day. Cage VI however made it all about him of course. He made Katie feed him breakfast in bed and then slept in a little longer. When it came to give Mom her present, it was obvious that Cage was reminding Katie that she wouldn't even have a Mother's day if it wasn't for him. Katie's only wish for Mother's day was to receive a back rub from me which she got but was interrupted by Cage VI waking up from his second nap of the day. 
I had a wonderful first Mother's Day. Daddy Cage did everything he could to ensure I had a relaxing day. He made me muffins for breakfast and homemade fettuccine alfredo for dinner with strawberry shortcake for dessert. He gave me a much needed massage and it was heaven!
It was also Cage's 5-Month old birthday. He is getting so big and growing up way too fast for us.
