Cage VI has made leaps and bounds in about a ten day span. He went from worming his way across the floor to now crawling. He now can pull him self up into a standing position. He likes to do this in the middle of the night in his crib. He just hasn't quite figured out the how to let go and get back down part. So he just stands there looking like a caged animal and cries for help. He has also discovered that he likes to be in charge when it comes to eating and prefers to feed himself handfuls at a time. It's a little messy, but it works. Another new trick is the babbling and unfortunately I hear more sounds that resemble "Mom" than "Dad". I told him I would get him a brand new sports car when he turned sixteen if he said "Dad" first, but I guess Katie has promised him something better. Learning all these new things has really gotten his mind racing and he has trouble sleeping through the night so Katie and I (mostly Katie) are having to get up throughout the night and help him back to sleep. I swear the kid grows over night and learns something new everyday. He is definitely growing up too fast.
