Nesting Mode

It's true what they say about the second trimester being the lull in pregnancy.  There just hasn't been much to report lately.  This has given Katie the chance to get immersed into the nesting mode.  She has been busy trying to pick out the perfect crib and bedding that will match the colors she has chosen for the nursery.  I was glad to see that she was taking this project on until I realized that I was going to be doing most of the work.  I will be putting the crib together, painting the room and putting up a stencil she has picked out for one of the walls.  I have put up one of these small stencils before in our downstairs bathroom, and it took me a few hours and lots of cussing to get it done.  I saw the stencil ideas she had in mind and I am pretty sure it will waste an entire Saturday to put it up.  I can't wait.  Katie's belly is getting bigger and bigger by the week, and her only ailment seems to be a sore back.  She has treated herself to a pregnancy massage three times now and she is hooked.  I am sure that her visits will increase as she gets bigger.  Well, that's about all I have to report for now, other than time seems to be flying and we are getting more and more excited to meet the little guy.
